Kim Meylemans started her professional Skeleton carreer ten years ago, 2011-2012 was her first season.

As an asthmatic she went to a boarding school in the south of Germany, where they specialized in treating kids with ashtma but apart from this they also specialized in winter sports. At the time, she was a soccer player and the talent scout of the school asked her to try out for either Skeleton or Luge. As she was not interested in Luge she went for Skeleton and never looked back.

Career Highlights :

5th at the 2017 World Championship in Königssee, Germany

5th at the 2020 European Championship in Sigulda, Latvia

1st Belgian to compete in Skeleton at the Olympic Games 

2nd at the  2019 Junior World Championship in Königssee, Germany

 Overall World Ranking 7th 2020/21 season 

Career Goals :

To obtain an Olympic Diploma on the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, China

To obtain a medal on the 2026 Olympic Games in Milano Corina, Italy
