Kim was born in Arnberg, Germany, has Belgian parents and fell in love with the skeleton sport in 2009 during her stay in the asthma center of Berchtesgaden, where the German top wintersport school is located. She joined the German federation and barely three years later she gained fifth place during the Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck and her first victory in a European Cup match. In season 2014-2015 she moved to the Belgian federation and was the first Belgian participant in the World Championship Skeleton in Winterberg. Since season 2015-2016 she participates in the World Cup circuit, where she finished a beautiful rookie year with several top 10 places.

Katrien DE NEVE

Katrien has been involved in athletics since she was a child, especially in the last few years as a tripe jump athlete.At the moment Katrien is studying Sports and Exercise at the Thomas more college in Turnhout. In 2014, after a call from Elfje, she participated in the selection tests for new brakewomens, but because of being too light and too young, it was suggested that she contact Kim Meylemans. In 2015 Katrien did her first runs in Igls on a skeleton sled. Since 2016 she participates in competitions in the European Cup.
